Dyson DC24 All Floors - bought brand new on 07 April '08. It weighs 5.4kg, and stands just 75cm tall when the handle is retracted for storage. Ideal if you're short on space! Its 650w motor generates 120 air watts - and thanks to the Root Cyclone technology, the suction power remains constant as the canister fills. The brush-roll is powered by a separate motor, which Dyson claims revolves at 5400rpm (ie. it spins 90 times a second!). The brush-roll can be shut off for cleaning hard floors ...
