ACAPULCO, México - La Perla del Pacífico

Acapulco es un puerto mexicano ubicado en el Estado de Guerrero, al suroeste del país, y cuya bahía semicircular bautizada con el nombre de Santa Lucía, es uno de los principales destinos turísticos del mundo.
La palabra Acapulco proviene del náhuatl: ácatl (caña), pul (aumentativo) y co (lugar), "lugar de cañas grandes". Su nombre oficial es Acapulco de Juárez. Ubicado a 411 kilómetros al sur de la Ciudad de México, Acapulco, se localiza al sur de la capital del Estado.
Acapulco se divide en tres grandes zonas conocidas como: Acapulco Tradicional, Acapulco Dorado y Acapulco Diamante.
La ciudad de Acapulco es la décima séptima zona metropolitana más grande de México, con una población total de 717,766 habitantes. La ciudad es un importante centro vacacional e industrial a nivel mundial, desde los años 50. Se encuentra en una zona económicamente privilegiada, ya que se ubica a cuatro horas de la Ciudad de México y actualmente es una de las ciudades con mejor panorama urbano en México.
En Acapulco hace calor y las temperaturas varían entre los 23 y 32 grados centígrados durante todo el año.
Acapulco ofrece una buena vida nocturna, sus principales discotecas "Palladium" con una asombrosa vista a la bahía, "El Alebrije" el más grande de toda Latinoamérica y el "Baby'O" considerado la mejor discoteca de México.
La ciudad está conectada por infraestructura carretera con los estados colindantes Morelos, Oaxaca, Michoacán y Estado de México. Cuenta con un Aeropuerto Internacional General Juán N. Alvarez y con el Puerto Transatlántico Internacional Teniente José Azueta, con un Club de Yates y la Marina de Acapulco.
Las ciudades hermanas de Acapulco son Beverly Hills (USA), Sendai (Japón) and Chintao (China).

Acapulco it's warm and the temperatures throughout vary between the 73 and 90 degrees Farenheit during the year.
Acapulco offers a very good nightlife. Its main clubs are "Palladium" with an awesome bay view, "El Alebrije" the largest one in Latin America, and the "Baby´O" considered as the best nightclub in Mexico.
Acapulco is connected by highways infrastructure with the adjacent states of Morelos, Oaxaca, Michoacán and Mexico City. Acapulco counts with an Airport "Aeropuerto General International Juán N. Alvarez" and with an harbor "Puerto Transatlántico Internacional Teniente José Azueta" , also with a Yatch's Club and the Navy of Acapulco.
The sister cities of Acapulco are Beverly Hills (USA), Sendai (Japan) and Chintao (China).
