(Read More)<br /><br />Back in the early 90's Leesa was teaching Dance at Aliso Niguel High School when she had the opportunity to take her Dance and Cheer students to hear Rudy Ruettiger speak. "Rudy" had been her favorite movie for a while and she had been inspiring her students to "never give up" just like the real Rudy did. Before any performance or Football game she would make them get in a circle and she would put her hand in middle and say "Are you ready Champs?" and they would then put their hand in the middle and say.... "I've been ready for this all my life"!!! Leesa always felt this form of unity led them on to the many State and National Championships that they won. Leesa has had a picture of herself and Rudy Ruettiger on her desk for many years now with that reminder to in tough times, which we all have, to "never give up". There is a line in the movie from one of the Priests, when Rudy seeks out his advice, he says, "All I know kid is there's a God and I'm not Him". It caused Leesa to be reminded that God is in control and our job is to continue to trust, obey that rule and "never give up"!<br /><br />WELL DONE Rudy Ruettiger. Thank you for never giving up.
