The master at work. Williams himself once said that the key to his success and power was cocking his front knee backwards like a pendulum before striding forward (see the 16sec, and 51sec mark). He also mentions in his book to hold the bat no further than 3-8 inches from your body as you begin your stride. In his case he holds his hands relatively low and near his ribcage. Also weight shifted slightly forward taking any pressure off the heels of your feet.
