After Washington took the lead with 1:10 remaining, the Cougars were given one last drive to win the game. Marquis Cooper decided to end the Cougar's hope a little early by returning an interception for a touchdown. Husky Stadium erupted as Washington won their sixth straight Apple Cup victory.
