Ein Experiment, bei dem Menschen in einen Winterschlaf versetzt werden um sie zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt wieder zum Leben zu erwecken. Das auf ein Jahr angesetzte Projekt gerät in Vergessenheit und Joe Bowers und die ihm damals als fruchtbare Partnerin zugeteilte Prostituierte Rita erwachen im Jahre 2505. In Mitten einer inzwischen total verdummten Menschheit und von Blödheit regierten Welt sind die beiden allen anderen mit ihrer Intelligenz haushoch überlegen. Joe nutzt seine Chance und kandidiert bei den Präsidentschaftswahlen in Amerika.
