Freeman's lawyer and business partner has announced that the Oscar-winner and his wife of 24 years are "involved in a divorce action." (Aug. 6)It's been a tumultuous week for Oscar-winner Morgan Freeman. On Sunday, the star of such films as The Dark Knight and Million Dollar Baby, was involved in a car accident from which he had to be rescued by the jaws-of-life. On Wednesday, it was leaked to the press that the actor and his wife of 24-years, Myrna Colley-Lee are getting a divorce. Freeman's business partner Bill Luckett tells Access Hollywood that the two have been separated since December 2007 and are "involved in a divorce action." On Sunday, Freeman and a female passenger, Demaris Meyer, were rescued and airlifted from the scene after the car Freeman was driving ran off the road and flipped over. Freeman and Meyer, who's been described as the actor's friend, were on their way to Freeman's home.Ross Simpson, AP
